JT Surf has been the home of surf for the northern areas of South Australia for 25 years. The 25th year of celebration brought along with it a new home within the Elizabeth Shopping Centre. Their previous concept and home for over 15 years needed a fresh new look to reflect the current environmental needs of today’s consumers.

We wanted the store to feel fresh, yet reflect the concepts of both surf and skate wear. With this in mind we found inspiration from Venice Beach and the fun and playful designs of Palm Springs. We took this concept to rebrand JT Surf to be more appealing to the overall retail market.

Customer experience and social media influencing plays a huge part in the success of any brand. We wanted to create an environment the consumers wanted to share and return to based on their in store experience, different to what you can find shopping online. The inclusion of a skill tester and selecting the stores playlist has been a huge success for the company, while partnering with the social media content of a specified photo wall, compliments on change room mirrors and fun wording on the entry flooring of the store.

To further celebrate the 25th year, we helped create a range of apparel by paying homage to the original logo and colours they opened with, as well as including the new colour concepts we see the brand have today. This logo brings with it a lot of nostalgia for those who were there when the business for began, to where it is today.
